Planning on doing a weekend trip in June. What do you think of Palm Springs? Is there enough to do in a weekend, or would we get bored?
Also, what kind of weather can we expect in earlly/mid-June?

LA to Palm Springs in June...a good weekend getaway??It all depends on what you like. Palm Springs is a good getaway if you like spending a day doing the spa, massage, relaxation kinda thing or if you like golf. Unless you%26#39;re into one of these two activites, you might find it a bit boring. The weather there in June will be hot. I would estimate daytime highs in the 100s. Near Palm Springs in Cabazon is the Morongo Casino %26amp; Resort which is adjacent to a huge outlet mall. That might be something else to consider. If you do decide to stay in Palm Springs for a weekend, I recommend the Viceroy or the Parker Meridien.

....and you can take the Palm Springs Tram to cool off and enjoy the beautiful mountains, walk/hike. The rotating tram ride is a special part of the trip with its views, too.
My husband and I often do weekend trips to Palm Springs. But those are after working long hours and just wanting to do nothing but RELAX. Just lounge by the pool and spa treatments.
Also we like to gamble so that%26#39;s what we do at night ... visit a casino and cross our fingers we come out winners!
