my financee and i will be in california for our honeymoon from australia in dec. we will be there for 6 nights. we want to do all of the fun attractions. we were originally planning on staying at anaheim but i thought that it would be a long trip back and forth to LA. as i figure we will want to shop and see sights more than go to disneyland for only 2 days.

Where to stay to see everything but not have to travel far
Hello KanDaz
If you are planning to spend a couple of days at Disney I suggest the easiest way of doing this is to book a hotel near Disney for a couple of days but then move for the rest of your honeymoon to another hotel.
LA is huge and if you try and see all the various sights from one place you will spend a large amount of time just sat in traffic.
Santa Monica is a great place to stay.
There are plenty of decent and reasonably priced places to eat and good nightlife.
You are also able to visit the sights of LA much more easily than being out at Anaheim.
We are doing something similar in August and wanted to see as much as possible in 7 nights. We have one night in Redondo to tour the beach areas followed by 3 nights at Disney%26#39;s Paradise Pier and 3 nights at the Hollywood Celebrity. IMO L.A. is just too large to stay put in one place. Good luck.
