We%26#39;ll be staying at the Hotel Monaco in Union Square then heading to Sonoma. We will be driving from the Hotel to Sebastiani Vineyards in Sonoma to meet up with our friends at 10:00 am on a Friday morning.
What time should we leave to make it to Sebastiani by 10:00?

Driving from SF to Sonoma, need help.
It would normally take an hour to get to Sebastiani, but build in a little extra time. By the time you leave, most of the commute traffic will have subsided, so it SHOULD be a relatively smooth drive to Sonoma. Probably the best route route would just be to take #101 no. to #37 east to #121 no. and continue to follow the signs to Sonoma.

That is the best route. The exit from 101 to 37 is marked ';Vallejo Napa'; as I remember. You will turn onto 121 near the Sears Point raceway. Be sure to watch for the Sonoma turnoff on Highway 12 from that or you will end up in Napa.
