parking downtown San Francisco

I booked a hotelroom at the Courtyard Downtown San Francisco (299 Second St. and Folsom St.). I wouldn`t pay the expensive valet parking. Could anyone request a nearby parking garage with good overnight and/or early bird parking? How is the parking situation on weekends?

Thnaks for your help!

Street parking should be relatively easy on weekends; The only caveat is if there is a Giants game in town, you might be in competition with fans seeking free street parking. But games are midday, so if you%26#39;re already ensconced, it isn%26#39;t an issue.

Marathon Plaza has parking at 2nd %26amp; Harrison streets:

You can also try Citysearch%26#39;s parking search by address.

If you go towards the Moscone Center (between 3rd and 4th Street), I%26#39;m sure parking will be more expensive. However, if you go closer to the freeway, you%26#39;ll find cheaper lots around there. However, the parking lot doesn%26#39;t look that night, and may not have an attendant.

there%26#39;s two outdoor lots at 2nd and Howard Streets, one block from your hotel. If you park on the weekends, rate goes down to $8 per day (same rate after 5pm). The bigger lot has an attendant till 7pm I believe. Lock your valuables in the trunk, do not leave anything resembling valuables in the interior or crooks might break into your car.

    1. You should've gone to www.proparksf.com and yes they do offer overnight parking and not to mention their awesome staff and convenient place. Totally highly recommended!
