Snow?

My folks are visiting from asia and they want to see snow!

I was wondering whether we could just drive down to tahoe and find something there. We are not planning to ski or anything just a small snow play area to see it.

Or is it too late in the year to do that? Pls advise.

I just checked out the tram webcam for Heavenly and see snow! If they are coming soon, you may be able to take the tram and find some yourself.

Snow?

I drove on I-80 over Donner Summit about 10 days ago and there was plenty of snow to see there over at the ski resorts. Not much if any at lower elevations

If you just want to look at snow, come on up! The drive up 80 will give a nice view of some snow on the higher North facing slopes. I don%26#39;t think that you will find a snow play area that is still open, but you should be able to pull off the road for a little informal snow play.

Squaw Vallley looks lovely. They are still open, but it %26#39;s very rocky. You can see a few brave souls skiing down what little snow is left. I sat outside at Starbucks today and enjoyed the warmth. It%26#39;s kind of fun to see people in ski boots and tee shirts. Your folks might enjoy this.
