My husband %26amp; I are headed to Pismo Beach for a kite-boarding trip. I think there%26#39;s an expo there. He %26amp; his friends will be kite-boarding. I will be on my own. I have never been to Pismo Beach but have seen Hearst Castle several times growing up. What is there to do in Pismo for a couple of days?
Things to Do in Pismo BeachWalk the long, wide beach and also walk out to the end of the Pismo Beach pier and along the boardwalk. Check out the funky, artsy little shops along Price St. and Dollar St. Visit the Oceano dunes (just so. of Pismo), and the bluffs and tidepools of Shell Beach (just no. of Pismo). Do some wine tasting out in Edna Valley (just inland from Pismo). The outlet mall is one exit so. of Pismo off #101 (my favorite shop is the Mikasa store). There are also antique shops in Arroyo Grande (one of the towns so. of Pismo). Eat, walk, relax and have fun!

Wow Forest! You must come here a lot for such accurate good information. Listen to Forest.
It depends also on what you like. Do you like serious shopping? If so I would suggest downtown San Luis Obispo on Higurea st. for a perfect day of shopping and great little restaurants.
If you are here on a Thursday night, do not miss the 17 year old farmers market also on Higurea - from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It is truly a fantastic way to spend an evening. 7 blocks long.
Take a short drive to Montana de Oro State Park and rent a horse for horseback riding. Hike to Corallina Coves for tidepooling.
That%26#39;s about all I could add to Forest%26#39;s great list.
