My daughter %26amp; I stayed at the Cal Mar Hotel in early May of this year. The price was very reasonable but it is not a %26#39;top of the line%26#39; hotel. I consider it more a %26#39;middle of the road%26#39; kind of place. We stayed in a unit with a bedroom and 2 dbl beds and the unit also had living room with fold out couch and kitchen/dining area. Free off street parking under the hotel. WiFi for $10.00 per day.

Short walk (5 to 10 minutes) from hotel to beach, pier, 3rd St. promenade.

I believe it is a former apartment building.
