Flydrive must do's

Considering a flydrive next year, to include San Fran, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, LA.

Going for 14 nights.

Which other places should we not miss that are possible to visit around the above ?

If you can, you should most definately visit one of the national parks. Yosemite or Lake Tahoe are both wonderful places. Also, while visiting LA, I would recommend either a day out or a couple of nights at a beach resort. We particularly like Newport.

By adding these to your trip you will be seeing all sides of CA, cities, beaches, mountains and desert. It might seem like alot of driving, but it is SOooo worth it!

Saying that, we always go for 17nights and adding the places I have suggested is comfortably doable. 14 may be a bit tight. It does make such a difference having those few extra days to explore places.

Are you thinking of just visiting Grand Canyon while based in Las Vegas or will you be driving. We just visited from LVegas and took the helicopter trip down into it to save time. It is expensive but because it is a one off, it%26#39;s worth it!

Redwoods north of San Francisco (Muir Woods is closest....Humboldt is better, but much further)
