annual passes

we upgraded our passes while were in Dland a couple of weeks ago, so we could save a lttle money when we come down the week before Christmas. Now I see that three of the days are blocked grrrr.. I read on the disney site that annual pass holders can get special block out prices, but don%26#39;t mention how much they cost..

Can anybody help me? Darkbeer?

You have a couple of choices, just buying the blockout passes, currently $30 a day, and each day MUST be bought on the day of use (but if you are staying at a Disney owned hotel, you can buy them at the Front Desk, otherwise any Ticket Window at the Main Entrance).

Your other choice is to upgrade. I presume you got the Deluxe at $229. You could pay the difference between the Deluxe and Premium (currently $120) and then get the better discount (15% vs 10% for food, and Premium AP%26#39;s get a 10% merchandise discount). You also get free parking in the large Parking Structure, but you probably don%26#39;t need that.

FYI, all prices are based on today%26#39;s prices, the Blockout Pass might go up before December, as could the AP prices. You would pay the difference between what you paid ($229), and whatever the current price for the Premium is. Also, you keep the same expiration date of May 2007 (no pro-ration).
