Hawthorne Lane?

I did a forum search for this restaurant and the most recent posting was in 2005. My aunt and uncle live in Menlo Park and really like this place. What%26#39;s the scoop? What do you other locals think? I%26#39;d like to take my aunt and uncle out somewhere nice, and was considering Gary Danko, but I thought maybe I should take them somewhere that they already really like.

Thanks for any input!

Hawthorne Lane?

I%26#39;ve not been there for several years, and liked it when I went, but anything could have happened in the meantime.

I guess it depends on the type of people your aunt and uncle are. If they like the idea of trying a different place, then go for Gary Danko. If they like what they like, and you sense they%26#39;re more comfortable in a familiar setting, then Hawthorne Lane would probably be the choice. I%26#39;d make the reservation at Gary Danko first, since it%26#39;s one you%26#39;d have to plan for, and then ask them. You can make the Hawthorne Lane reservation later.

Thanks Bings! What great resources! I appreciate it!

I just know you%26#39;ll be spending a lot of money if you eat there. The websites posted in the previous post are good to check out.

Thanks again RS3 - I%26#39;ll check them!
