We will be in LA area mid July from a Wednesday to Monday (all of those full days) We%26#39;ve already purshed the following tickets: Disneyland 2 day hopper, six flags, universal FOL passes,San Diego Zoo, and knotts. Could some one list which park on which day based on crowds. Also, which are the best parks to visit on rain days to make the most of the visit. Thanks for any feedback.
somebody plan my itinerary, please!!!!
I wouldn%26#39;t worry about rain in July.
I don%26#39;t know how you%26#39;ll find the time to do all those parks, personally. Where are you staying?
I would do the Zoo on a weekend day. The parks will be jammed in July on the weekend, although any day of the week will be crowded as it%26#39;s peak time.
somebody plan my itinerary, please!!!!
As mentioned Rain won%26#39;t be a problem.
Where are you staying in LA? Suggest staying in Anaheim...or one of the nearby beach cities like Huntington Beach, Newport Beach or Laguna Beach.
Wednesday: Disneyland
Thursday: Universal
Friday: California Adventure
Saturday: Drive to San Diego for Zoo (and stay or return)
Sunday: Knotts Berry Farm
Monday: Disneyland
Your Major Theme parks are Disneyland/Universal so put them on a non-weekend day. Enjoy your trip!
Thanks mini. I know its a lot to squeeze in but we are used to the pace. We did more than this in Orlando with less time. My girls are 8%26amp;12 so they are easy. We rented a house in Anaheim which is the route we always take because its always cheaper than the hotels and we each have the luxury of our own rooms. (not to mention eating cheaper plus a laundry room!!) I%26#39;m thankful about no rain. Thanks for the great itinerary mini. We are also getting ridemax so hopefully all will be well. BTW, when should I shoot for Goofy breakfast if I am lucky enough to snag a reservation?
I%26#39;d do the Goofy Breakfast the morning before you go to Knotts Berry Farm.
Note: You can snag a reservation by calling in advance and booking it.
The Disneyland web site will tell you how to book a dining reservation.
I%26#39;d recomomend the Knotts Berry Farm day, as Knotts is fun (but not the best of the wonderful parks you are going to.) I think a nice morning at the GOofy Breakfast and quick drive over to Knotts for rest of the day would make for a super fun day. You might want to either do Knotts Chicken Dinner Restaurant for dinner or drive to Newport Beach and do Cheescake Factory at the Newport Beach Fashion Island for dinner. Enjoy your trip!
Just got back from Six Flags, that park is insane. Unless you are a
rollercoaster fanatic stear clear. Disneyland during the week, won%26#39;t be horrible for crowds. I think they say Monday and Tuesday are the best day. Be sure to get the fastpass for a lot of the attractions. Personally I like the wild animal Park, compared to the San Diego Zoo. Universal and Disneyland are can%26#39;t miss attractions. Have fun
Thanks for the info. We are HUGE roller coaster fanatics and looking forward to six flags the most. Hope to ride most of %26#39;em.
