4 English San Diego Virgins Visiting for 2-3 Days

We are 2 couples aged 30-40 booked into the Gaslamp quarter for Tues and Wed eves in August.

We have booked Red Hot Chilli Peppers for the Wed night, we know we definitely want to go to the Zoo, pehaps hire mountain bikes for a ride.. other than that we are not sure how best to spend our short time there.

Any suggestions would be greatfully received.

Also would we have to drive from Gaslamp to the Sports Arena? Is it too far for a taxi? Is there any other public transport available?

What hotel are you staying at in the Gaslamp? You could take the trolley from downtown to the Old Town station and take a taxi from there. Ask your hotel to help you with the arrangements. I%26#39;m not sure if the taxis will be sitting there waiting to pick up people or if you%26#39;d have to call in advance and have one waiting for you. You might also be able to take a bus. You could take a taxi. It isn%26#39;t all that far but I%26#39;d guess it would be at least $25 one way.

As far as what to do the the other night, since you%26#39;re only going to be there 2 nights I%26#39;d stick with downtown. You can walk everywhere. Lot%26#39;s of good restaurants and clubs. Go to the top of the Manchester Hyatt at sunset and have a drink and see the view. Walk along the Marina in front of the Hyatt to Seaport Village.

Wow that sounds nice - walking around sounds good to me.

Re the hotel - it is the Ramada Inn and Suites on 6th Avenue.
