Does anyone know of any car rental companies who dont charge a minimum age surplus or who list the minimum age as 24? I would like to rent a car for 15 days in La but it seems such a waste to spend an extra $20-25 a day on this surcharge, especially as I will be 25 one month later (24 years and 11 months)!

You could try www.carhire3000.com. Im coming over to LA from the UK for 11 days soon. I%26#39;m 29 but i%26#39;ve just done the same search and put my age as 24 and the prices are the same.
I searched loads of car hire places and these were really competitive.

Unfortunately even with www.carhire3000.com you will have an underage driver fee of about $20 per day. Try Budget.com they don%26#39;t usually have underage driver fees but you will pay slightly more for the rental
