I live in South Louisiana. My husband and I are thinking about a trip to SD. MY husband is not too thrill over visiting SD, however, we both enjoyed LA and San Francisco when we visited several years ago. We spend most of our vacation time in Florida. We recently visited the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area and highly enjoyed it. We tend to be drawn to tropical areas. We are not really interested in the theme parks now. We are looking for a ';COUPLE'; type vacation to explore and enjoy each other. I enjoy shopping and sightseeing beautiful places. We like visiting places that are culturally diverse and appreciates people despite race or ethnicity. Please inform me on things in the area that might spark the interest of a couple 45 yrs. of age and over.
Pleasure Seeker in SD
I don%26#39;t like theme parks either but I als don%26#39;t like Miami or LA so it is hard for me to advise you. San Diego has Balboa Park with gardens, museums ,fine dining , and theater. San Diego has Old Town with historical buildings, reataurants and shops. San Diego has scenery from cliffs, to beaches ,to mountains ,to desert all within one county the size of the state of Connecticutt. San Diego has golf, spas , hiking, kayaking, hot air balooning, wine tasting, etc. etc.
