wedding anniversary

Trying to book a perseveration for my wedding anniversary

Which is a better deal the Doubletree Hotel Sonoma Wine Country or the The Lodge at Sonoma, A Renaissance Resort %26amp; Spa

wedding anniversary

For a special occasion like an anniversary, I would choose Lodge at Sonoma. It%26#39;s just a mi. so. of the Sonoma Plaza where you%26#39;ll be able to visit tasting rooms, historical sites, shops and great restaurants. The Lodge also has Raindance which was voted ';best day spa'; in Sonoma by Wine Country Broadcasting%26#39;s 2006 survey. Hiking at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen will be a short drive away as well--plus a huge array of wineries, restaurants and beautiful views up thru the Sonoma Valley. You%26#39;ll have more time just to just enjoy being there. I%26#39;m assuming you want convenience and relaxation and to be close to wineries in the Sonoma Valley. If you stay in Rohnert Park you%26#39;ll be about 35-40 min. away from Sonoma--just far enuf to not want to drive it. The Doubletree is a nice facility, close to #101, but doesn%26#39;t really provide a special ';wine country experience'; in my assessment.

Have you considered the Sonoma Mission Inn? It is truly a great property. We stayed there for the third time in March and the place seems to get better every year. A first-class spa, gorgeous grounds, true pampering from the friendly and professional staff, two restaurants and a large mineral water pool for relaxing. I think it would be a great place to celebrate a wedding anniversary.

I would recommend the General%26#39;s Daughter for a gourmet meal if you need a special occasion restaurant. Cheers and Happy Anniversary! :)

Madrona Manor%26#39;s my recommendation for a special occasion dinner. A $100 meal there would cost at least double that in a major city. [it%26#39;s quite a bargain as splurges go!]
