Cable Car Tickets

I bought one too many cable car tickets the last time I was in the city (Labor Day weekend %26#39;05) but saved them in case I decided to return. Now I%26#39;m heading back for the 4th of July weekend and was wondering if the tickets are still good? I paid $5 each for them (the ones that look like postcards) and really want to use them! Has the price gone up? Maybe if it has does anyone know if i can just add the difference in price and still use the tickets? I don%26#39;t want them to go to waste!

It%26#39;s still $5 fare. If there is no expiration time or date, I don%26#39;t know any reason why you couldn%26#39;t use them. If in doubt, call 415-673-MUNI.

I would also check to see if there is an expiration date on the tickets. I know with some of the passes, they actually expire at the end of the year, even if they haven%26#39;t been used. I do not know a whole lot about the postcard tickets though, but it%26#39;s something I would look at as well just to make sure.

Thanks for the advice! I don%26#39;t see any expiration dates anywhere on the tickets...just ';void if detached'; on the stubs, so I guess I%26#39;ll be ok!
