any of these places worth a stop?

Hi again-- The Coronado Brewing Co. (take the ferry to ?Coronado ) has been mentioned as a fun family place but I am not sure about their veggie options. If you happen to be there ,go but I don%26#39;t think I would make a special trip. The same would be for Rock Bottom(which has several locations) It makes a variety of beers which are very nice and I personally love their carrot cake with caramel syrup for dessert so if you are nearby then by all means go but not a special trip.

The las t few restaurants can be be viewed on the web site I gave you :

Everyone here loves the Prado in Balboa Park and I like Indigo Grill a lot! Read the menus on the web site and make your choices.

Thanks for the heads up. As always, you%26#39;ve been uber helpful. I%26#39;ve already printed out the map to Island Prime. We%26#39;re all looking forward to a yummy meal there. It looks like some of these other places might be worth a stop too... particularly since they are under the same ownership. Gotta love those discounts!

If you are going to Coronado Tent City is a great choice for lunch - not with a view but just for a bite if you%26#39;re over checking out that side of Coronado. Lot%26#39;s of veggie options and good quality fresh ingredients. Not for a special trip but if you%26#39;re already going to be over there.

San Diego Wine %26amp; Culinary center great for wine tastings, light bites. Right in downtown.

IMO nothing in the first category worth going to.

Tent City- heard good things but have never been.

Coronado Brewing Co- We%26#39;ve had good burgers, sandwiches, salads, and of course beer!

Bay Cafe- At Ferryboat Landing on Coronado with an excellent view of downtown across the bay. Nice for a casual outdoor lunch.

Hot Dog on A Stick and Sweet Shoppe, is what it sounds like. Can probably find both in any mall food court. Not worth going out of your way for.

Prado, Dakota, and Indigo Grille. All very good and worth it even without a discount. Nice decor, portion size and presentation. Interesting entrees and flavors. Last recall tasty plank salmon at Ithe ndigo Grille and the butternut squash soup there is always delicious.

Mister Tiki is from the same restaurant group, but we found it an overpriced disappointment. More bar with bad service than restaurant and nothing tiki-ish about it.

Korky%26#39;s- Ice cream is ice cream. If you%26#39;re strolling in the area sure why not. Who says no to free ice cream? Not me. I%26#39;ve been there and never met a flavor I didn%26#39;t like. Partial to the Almond Joy, blackberry and gooey chocolate choices.

BTW, not sure how long you%26#39;re in town for, but the San Diego Entertainment Book is a good choice for discounts. This time of year it sells for about $12 rather than $45. Can get it online www.entertainment.com and purchase locally. Usually pays for itself after one use. Lots of restaurants, movie, and other attraction discountsI think the online version shows all the discounts.

We%26#39;re going to be in town for two weeks...longer if my hubby really and truly loves me and never makes me come back to Texas! I%26#39;m probably out of time to order the coupon book you mentioned without paying extra super high fast shipping fees. Where is a good place to pick them up in town? It seems like the only place to find those in our city is from the local high school football team.

Thanks!
