Are there any hotels attached to the terminals at SFO?

I have a busniess meeting in SFO. As I arrive very late at night, needing only to pop into the city during the next workday, and then fly out to another city very early on the third day, I would like to minimize my hassle and maximize my bunk time by sleeping in a hotel attached to the airport terminals. Are there any such creatures?

Thank you very much for your replies!

In a word, No

Would you want a 747 waking you up every few minutes?

But there are many that are close by, 10-15 minutes with free shuttles.

The city, itself, is 25-45 minutes north of the airport, depending on traffic.

London Heathrow and Pearson International (in Toronto) are but two major airports that have hotels attached to one of their terminals. It%26#39;s not a big deal, and from what I%26#39;ve been lead to believe, behind well-sealed, triple-glazed/paned windows, you don%26#39;t hear too much.

It would be nice if SFO had this convenience, too.... Sigh. Dream on, young man!

Thanks for your reply!

Don%26#39;t know your budget but here are two that cater to the biz traveler:

Crowne Plaza - just finished renovations and is very nice. 1.5 miles from SFO. Hyatt Regency is 2 miles from SFO. Don%26#39;t know about Hyatt%26#39;s rooms as I%26#39;ve only gone to meetings there but it%26#39;s a nice hotel.

There is a free airport hotel shuttle that operates for both of these (%26amp; others) %26amp; it runs every 15 mins between 5 am and midnight. if you arrive during those hrs, call hotel directly for assistance. I think both hotels may also offer to drive you to SFO BART so you can take rapid transit train into city (%26amp; back).

No, there are not. There are hotels near the airport with shuttles that go to SFO. They have the typical big chain hotels (Hyatt, Westin, Hilton, etc...)

Just so you%26#39;re aware, SFO is the airport, not the City of San Francisco.

Yeah, I know. I realized my error after I posted, but couldn%26#39;t see a button to edit my initial post in this thread.

My meeting is in the city; not the airport. My bad.

In case you%26#39;re interested, Hong Kong and Taipei airports have such facilities as well.

SFO used to have a hotel nearly on premises, but that changed when the airport underwent a major makeover a few years back. It%26#39;s not so bad taking a hotel shuttle to one of the airport hotels that are very nearby.

Paris also has a Sheraton right in Terminal 2 at CDG.

There is many in the US and around the world with hotels attached to the terminals.

For those traveling through Dallas, a fantastic Grand Hyatt has opened up attached to the new international terminal.
