Grandcanyon, Hooverdam qns..

hi. being a first-time to california, i wanna ask you guys

1) if a combined tour (Grand Canyon %26amp; Hooverdam) is better or 2 separate tours?

2) Bus tours or heli? prefer time to take pictures.

3) what is the cheapest way to get from sanfran to los angeles?

First of all the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam are NOT in California.

Hoover Dam is outside of the city of Las Vegas which is in the state of NEvada. The Grand Canyon is nearby but is in the state of Arizona.

You can fly on Southwest Airlines from OAK(Oakland Ca near SanFrancisco ) to LasVegas or to ariports near Los Angeles like Burbank. Southwest Air will not come up on airline search engines youhave to go to their own web site .

YOu could easily rent a car in LasVegas and go to the dam(which is just outside the city) The GrandCanyon can be seen from a helicopter but if youwan to actually stay and take pictures you might want to go there on a bus tour or just drive .
