A group of 4 women are going to San Diego in June. Any thoughts on the hotel Dana on Mission Bay or Catamaran Resort %26amp; Spa? They both looked nice but we have never been to San Diego and the amount of hotels is astounding.

Welcome to San Diego! Both the Dana and Catamaran are fine hotels in good locations. You are so right, there are a lot of hotels from which to choose. The Mission Bay/Mission Beach - Pacific Beach areas are particularly great if you are in your mid 20%26#39;s to 30%26#39;s - very fun, safe, vibrant areas. I think you would be happy at either. If you are not in that age group, you might prefer a bit quieter area.

Catamaran Resort %26amp; Spa hands down! There is not much to do in Mission Beach. There are more restaurants and shops in PB.
