Romantic Fine Dining - Vegetarian Options

Hello everyone,

I am planning a special trip to Palm Springs this weekend with my boyfriend for our anniversary and his birthday. We are both vegetarians and I%26#39;m having trouble finding a romantic restaurant that we will enjoy that is fairly upscale.

The menu for the St. Jame%26#39;s Restaurant looks yummy, but I%26#39;m not sure if it will be quiet and provide the proper ambiance we%26#39;d enjoy. Last time we visited Palm Springs we ate at Julian%26#39;s and had a lovely evening. This time around, we%26#39;d like to try something new.

St James has a perfect ambiance for you. Prom has passed so it won%26#39;t be crowded with kids like Saturday night was.

I think we will definitely make reservations for St. Jame%26#39;s and I%26#39;ll ask for a table in a quiet area (if that%26#39;s possible). And oops, I meant to type ';Jillian%26#39;s'; in my first post.

I was looking at the set-up and menu for Copley%26#39;s too and it looks really nice too... maybe we can go enjoy two nice dinners for the long weekend.

Why not have dinner at Copleys and then drinks at St James?

From what I%26#39;ve read on this site, St. Jame%26#39;s restaurant seems like an appropiate place for ';after dinner activities,'; while Copley%26#39;s has a nice patio-dining area under the stars for that added romantic touch at dinner.

I am really excited for this weekend. Thank you for your help and advice! I am hoping the weather is relatively sunny so we can work on our tans poolside 8-)

Native Foods is the best vegetarian restaurant in the area. There are two in the desert. One in Palm Springs and one in Palm Desert. I%26#39;m not sure how romantic you would find it but the food is excellent.
