We re planning on spending 7-8 days in August in San Francisco and other areas. Besides San Fancisco we want to go to Napa, Yosemite, and the coast. can anyone reccomend in what order we should visit these attractions and places to stay etc.?

If it%26#39;s in August and you%26#39;re keen on going to Yosemite, I think you%26#39;d better get busy and find lodging in Yosemite during your travel period first, and that may dictate the order. Lodging inside Yosemite and just outside the park book up fast for the summer vacation period.
Generally speaking, I%26#39;d think that you%26#39;d want one day in SF to get your bearings and then go to Napa, then Yosemite, then come back to SF to see stuff on your city list in greater depth. Allow time for Yosemite. One day won%26#39;t do it.
