trying to decide between these two for a conference May 20-25. By the way, how far are each from the Staples Center.

They are both very nice hotels. One is in the heart of all the action on Sunset Strip, the other is in the heart of Beverly Hills. Both are an easy walk to restaurants, bars, shops. The Bel Age is in a younger neighborhood, it%26#39;s right across the street from The Viper Room and The Whiskey a Go Go.

Both are about 30-40 minutes from Staples, depending on traffic. Neither is any closer to Staples than the other, because of proximity to the 10 freeway and the need to use surface streets to get to the 10. Although, having typed that, the Mosaic is a little closer to the 10, but the Bel Age is further east - it%26#39;s six of one, half dozen of the other.
