San Diego hotels

I am trying to decide between the Holiday Inn on the Bay and the Sheraton Hotel and Marina Hotels in San Diego. Will be travelling there in August with 2 teenage children. Does anyone have any advice as to which is preferrable?

I fthose ar eyour 2 choices then the Holiday Inn on the Bay is the BEST one. The other hotel is on a small built up man made island near the airport with nothing else around it. The Holiday Inn is across the street from the ferry to Coronado ,the harbor tours, walkable to downtown and the gaslamp area, near public transportation for the rest of the city and just a better all around location.

Sorry I forgot to say that you must get harbor view rooms.
