Interesting Car Hire?

Hi all,

I am visiting San Fran in Dec 06 and hope to hire a vehicle to travle down the coast to Carmel / Monterey for a day. Can anyone recomend a firm who hire unique or unusual vehicles? I am open to sugestions as to the type of vehicle, I have been looking at sport / convertible type cars, but all ideas considered.

Most of the major car rental companies will have convertible for rent. I don%26#39;t know about any unusual or sports cars - I would think that they would be difficult to insure

Try a Google search on ';exotic car rental San Francisco'; and you%26#39;ll get listings of lots of less main stream rental companies that deal absolutely everything. Very few cities have this many options. The sky%26#39;s the limit on rental fees...

If you%26#39;re heading to Monterey, you can also look up Laguna Seca and BMW driving schools if you want to do more fancy driving.
