we have our tickets for the evening tour of alcatraz. jusst read on one of the posts that there is a hospital tour that is hard to get into. do we need separate tickets for this? didnt hear anything about this. anyone know?
alcatraz and hospital tour
Just did the night tour last night - it was great and really spooky - but remember to wrap up very warm.
The hospital tour is included in your price but there are very limited spaces - you only find out about it when you go for your Audio tour which is also included and is first class - what I would suggest is that you can do the audio tour in your own time - so once you get given your headphones and cassette - instead of embarking on your audio tour straight away - walk through all the cellblock area to the end by the dining room and gun gallery where you will find a man at the information desk - he has a flipchart which states the times of the tour - book up here and now - then you can go back and start your audio tour with the knowledge that your hospital tour is booked .
I do hope this has helped you Carole 1
Enjoy it - we did.
