Decent bars within walking distance

Hi all, we will be staying at the Serrano hotel which I understand is on the corner of Taylor and O%26#39;Farrell street, and I am looking for suggestions for any decent bars for 40 somethings within walking distance of the hotel i.e 10 mins.

Decent bars within walking distance

There are plenty of bars in the immediate area but my favorite is the Owl Tree just up 2 blocks at Taylor and Post streets. As the name implies, the bar has an owl theme. Every inch of the bar is covered in owls! There are owl mirrors, owl clocks, owl menus, stained-glass owls, ceramic owls, etc. The place is oozing with character! There are allways some tasty niblets to much on and the drinks are strong!
