when is the best time to visit san diego. im looking for weather in the upper 80%26#39;s where its nice to go to the beach and enjoy it? really appreciate it!

Noone can guarantee upper 80s at the beach. This past summer we had unusually warm days and YOU would have loved it. I almost died because we have NO air conditoning and don%26#39;t usually miss it. We live 3miles from the beach. I would say Aug and early Sept. would be the best times for good beach weather. August is ordinarily our hottest month but the avg temps are only in the high 70s near the coast. If you want REALLY hot temps you have to drive away from the ocean at least 10 miles inland where it is at least 10deg warmer.

One of the reasons many of us live here is because the upper 80s don%26#39;t usually exist. Even when is does get hot, the water is still cold.
