We are staying at the Hyatt Regency Central Plaza in November spending 1 day at Universal can someone let me know the best way to get from the hotel to the stuidos we wont have a car were thinking of getting a cab if not too expensive also a front line pass.
Any information on the best city tour would be most welcome
A 3 day stop overCentury City -- while centrally located -- is an inconvenient place to stay if you don%26#39;t have a car. While Universal is only 20 miles from Universal, it would take 3 different buses/trains to get to Universal (and would take about an hour).
A taxi would take half as long and would cost about $55-$60 EACH WAY (including tip). It would be less expensive to take a coach tour through, for example, All Los Angeles Tours (allllosangelestours.com) since they charge about $32 more than the price of the Universal ticket alone for the RETURN trip (including admission).
Alternatively, stay on the Sunset Strip or at the 5-star Renaissance Hollywood (the latter is a 10-minute taxi ride or 4-minute metro ride to Universal).
Good luck!
A 3 day stop overThanks for the information I think we will have to get to Universal by cab as we cant change our hotel at least one knows that it wont be cheap but we are on holiday what the hell !!!
