Spiders on rides?

One week to go, and I%26#39;ve just had a thought: are there any rides in either park that use spiders as a main scare? My son and I are scared stiff of them, and some warning would be so good! (I%26#39;ve seen Raiders Of the Lost Ark about 12 times, and still only seen one spider coz I KNEW there would be hundreds of them in the early scene. I%26#39;ve closed my eyes ever since! ) Please even answer if it%26#39;s a firm NO. Thanks!

Spiders on rides?

Hi,

I don%26#39;t believe any of the rides at Disneyland or CA Adventure use spiders as effects on the rides. The Indiana Jones Adventure Ride at Disneyland though has on part of the ride where on the wall they magnify the shapes of bugs on the walls and they are moving around but I don%26#39;t think there were any spiders. This is one the best rides in Disneyland- don%26#39;t miss it.

Have a great vacation: )

Spiders on rides?

The only other one that comes to my mind is ';The Bugs Land'; in California Adventure. Its a cute show about Insects view of the world...but some of the items might be a bit scarry (although it is a framiy friendly and cute show.)

If you are scared of spiders stay away from the show ';its tough to be a bug'; in DCA. Needless to say, some children (and adults) leave the theater in tears!!

On the Haunted Mansion as you come out of the elevator and walk down the hall with the doors and busts you get to the boarding area for the buggies. Right there is a giant spider web with a spider. It%26#39;s on the right. I never took notice of it until I was with my 3 yo son and he totally freaked out!

Indiana Jones has spiders crawling up a wall in one part of the ride.

The Jungle Cruise has some large spiders as part of the ride. (left side just past where the Bengal Tiger is).

And as mentioned above, the Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones and It%26#39;s Tough to be a Bug also use Spiders.

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience has an effect that makes you think that mice are crawling on your feet and legs.

Thanks SO much guys! I don%26#39;t want the best holiday on earth spoilt by any damn arachnids! I will put those rides mentioned on my list!

I would think Disneyland guest services can tell you about any rides that have insects, I%26#39;m sure you are not the only person worried about them and you will not be the last. When you get there, just ask, I%26#39;m sure they have been asked before. Have a great time.
