My DH is going out to SF for a business meeting and convention, and so I get to go with him!!!! YEAH!! We will be staying at Le Meridien....nice digs f rom what I hear...but not in our budget if we were footing the bill!!! Anyway, we would love some ideas on restaurants in the area that will be within our means, say $50 to $65 for dinner??? All ideas and advice glady welcomed!!!!!!
Moderate Price Restaurants.........
A good resource for finding places to eat is http://sanfrancisco.citysearch.com
You can type in an address and it will list all the restaurants nearby. You can further narrow down the selections by cuisine, price, and type of restaurant.
You can also see other people%26#39;s reviews about their dining experience.
Moderate Price Restaurants.........
$50-65 TOTAL??
Or $50-65 per person?
heytoost wants to eat 芦$50 to $65 for dinner禄
You%26#39;ll find that the vast majority of our restaurants will let you out for that or less. There aren%26#39;t very many good restaurants near the hotel, Tadich Grill (242 California Street) perhaps the best of %26#39;em that might be closer to $65 than $50.
The ';Don%26#39;t-miss SIGHTS in San Francisco'; page geocities.com/iconoc/Articles/Sights.html has enough to keep you busy for nine twelve-hour days. It includes links to your best source of advice on WHERE TO EAT here, the UseNet Group ba.food, and the quite-good sfSurvey. It also has a WEATHER CHART with a link to current conditions.
The best on-line MAP of San Francisco is an inter-active PDF created for the San Francisco Municipal Railway: geocities.com/iconoc/Grafix/CityWide.pdf. I recommend 150% or greater magnification. There%26#39;s also a link that will tell you HOW TO GET THERE FROM HERE. Other links on the page, geocities.com/iconoc/Grafix/FlagMaps.html are a map of our CABLE CAR ROUTES and a superb map of GOLDEN GATE PARK.
Thanks all......................Saks................sorry....meant to say $50-$65 per person.
