I%26#39;m looking for an inexpensive restaurant that serves great food in the Nob Hill area that can seat a group of 12 people for dinner. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers, etc.. Any suggestions? Prefer to stay away from oriental food.

Don%26#39;t think that exists on Nob Hill, with seating for a group of 12 to boot.

How about within a mile of of Pine and Stockton?
You could try Lefty O%26#39;douls on Geary and Powell. it%26#39;s a hofbrau and has sandwiches, inexpensive dinner plates etc. The dining room is large and while you don%26#39;t make reservations, there are several long tables that seat many people.
Your request is difficult because so many of our places are small. the larger ones are typically more expensive or of the chain variety like Chevy%26#39;s. The best way to feed a lot of people cheaply here is to go for Chinese.
You might try Jillian%26#39;s in the Meteron. You can get that kind of fare there and it can handle parties of that size fine.

You can always try Taylor%26#39;s Refresher over at the Ferry Building for very casual food, in line with what you listed:

They%26#39;re open until 8 or 9 p.m., which is more on the early side.
Max%26#39;s Opera Cafe on Van Ness Ave.:

Original Joes at Taylor and Golden Gate BUT I would caution you to take cabs as it%26#39;s not the best area.
Dotties True Blue Cafe.
Sorry. Disgreard my suggestion. I was totally thinking I was in a different post! It%26#39;s been one of ';those'; days! Sorry!
