Electronic Stores in San Diego or Anaheim

Hi

We%26#39;re coming from Australia to Anaheim and San Diego in a few weeks and would like to buy some gadgets for my laptop and possibly a home theatre remote control unit. Can any one suggest a good store with a big range and good prices? We will have a car for a week so can drive if needed.

I wouls also add Fry%26#39;s to the list. Off the 15 and Aero Drive. Bigger selection and usually cheaper.

I second Fry%26#39;s. Huge store with several CA locations. Carries oodles of electronic and computer nitty gritty.

2 locations in San Diego County. The one PB mentioned is more centrally located on 9825 Stonecrest.

The other is at 150 Bent Ave, San Marcos N part of the county off highway 78. Depending on where your staying or heading that may be in your path from Anaheim.

Stonecrest seems larger, but Bent has a refreshment area surrounded by aquariums, that keeps the shopping buddies comfortably occupied when the techies get lost among the gadgets.

I want to also second Fry%26#39;s as the store of choice. When I need something odd, want a wide selection or want the lowest price. Fry%26#39;s is where I go. Staff can be a little hard to get help from but when you do they are usually well informed about their department. You just have to be a little aggressive.

A word of caution about Fry%26#39;s. Don%26#39;t go in thinking you will be done in an hour. This is one huge store and it can take you some time.

I go to Fry%26#39;s often and the prices are much better than Best Buy on most items. Better selection also.
