Granville's OR Club 33??

OK I have a brother coming into town that wants to treat some of the family to a nice steakhouse in the Disney area. I%26#39;ve read some prior short comments that Granville%26#39;s is ';nice, upscale dining'; but haven%26#39;t seen too much else about the food. Mainly interested in steak and seafood.

I do have a ';inside'; connection to get a reservation at Club 33 which I understand has similar dishes and more.

Looking at dinner on a Friday night and I know at 33 it won%26#39;t be cheap! Isn%26#39;t the menu posted somewhere on the Net? If so please post a link.

Would like to get some comments over the next day so we can finalize our decision and reservations.

Thanks!

Granville's OR Club 33??

bg, Sorry for the misspelling. The correct website is:

www.disneylandclub33.com/menupage.htm

If you and/or your relatives have never been to Club 33, and your brother%26#39;s pocketbook can stand the strain (lol), I%26#39;d lean there.

Granville%26#39;s is nice, but I think Club 33 is something that you should try at least once, if able.

Based on availability we decided to go with Granville%26#39;s. The invitation to check out Club 33 is open ANYTIME because my neighbor is a cast member. It%26#39;s interesting to read the menu from the link provided above since all the prices have clearly been ';blanked'; out.

The food at 33 is what I called ';high falutin%26#39; food!'; or food that is really, really expensive kind of like at the Napa Rose.

I think Granville%26#39;s will suit our needs just fine. Any other comments out there? Where%26#39;s Darkbeer?!

I have been to both, and if you are looking for the better meal, I would say Granville%26#39;s.

Yes, Club 33 is nice, and it is a nice treat, being able to go to a private club inside the park, and enjoy an adult beverage and a nice meal.

But if you want Steak and Potatoes, then Granville%26#39;s is the place.

Here is a menu...

Some friends and I were talking about where we would like to go have a nice meal, and decided that we would go to Granville%26#39;s.

Thanks so much DB! My brother has HIGH standards because he works in the restaurant industry back east. I think I will hold 33 in my back pocket for now.

I searched for customer reviews on TA and found just 1 5-star review. We are going tonight at 7pm.

I just posted a review of my experience here. It should post in a couple days after approval by TA staff.

We ate at Club 33 about 6 months ago. It was a waste of money. The food was barely so-so in taste and the prices were astronomical..My 10 year old ordered chicken fingers with fries and it was about $35.00. They were overly cooked (almost burned) to boot. The dessert was something out of of a box.. I would have rather gone to the Carnation and ordered one gooey yummy hot fudge sundae. The service however was really good.

Basically what you are getting is a delay of the entrance price of Disneyland. You get in free with the lure of a expensive ,exclusive meal. I would have MUCH rather eaten in the Blue Bayo and paid the entrance fee.

I have not eaten in Granville%26#39;s.
