Besides the obvious Anaheim Disneyland park, what other adult things are there to do within a cabride?

Well, there are a lot of restaurants in the area and we like to go south on Harbor to Huntington Beach, that%26#39;s a great area right on the ocean for shopping and dining.

Well there are loads of things to do in the LA area. We drove up to the Getty Museum and five years ago we drove up to Simi Valley to the Reagan Library. Both of those are very worthwhile. We also did some sightseeing in Malibu along the PCH. All of those require fighting some traffic but its worthwhile. The Nixon Libarary in Yorba Linda is nice and its about a 15-20 min drive from DL.. Like the other poster said, Newport Beach is nice and so is Laguna.

Anaheim is in a southern suburb of Los Angeles.

If you can get yourself to the nearest train station (either the one in Anaheim or Fullerton -- whichever is closer to your hotel), in about 40 minutes, you%26#39;ll be in downtown L.A. with all there is to see and do including great museums of every kind, ethnic neighborhoods (Chinatown, etc), Griffith Park (the largest urban park in America), the L.A. Zoo, the Staples Centers (sports and other events), the Music Center (Opera, Dance, Philharmonic, theatre, etc),

etc

etc.

Train tickets are avaiable via metrolink (metrolinktrains.com) -- limited trains, usually during commuter rush hours --

and Amtrak, amtrak.com

You could catch an Angels game, see what is going on in the Anaheim Convention Center, Check out the venue at The Pond or yes, go to Huntington or Newport Beach... If you go all the way down Harbor Blvd you will end up in Newport which is totally cool...or turn right and go to Huntington Beach..near the pier.

I was thinking:

How about The Grove, the House of Blues in Downtown Disney or even Crystal Cathedral?
